On 23rd May 2016 we formally submitted to Liverpool City Council a claim that a Public Right of Way exists between Woolton Park and Acrefield Road via Glenacres. This claim was supported by 49 individual User Evidence Statements signed by local residents.

The City Council then had to decide whether to add the path to the Definitive Map of Public Rights of Way - but before doing this they had to give the various landowners the opportunity to comment. The legal process is convoluted and may involve a public inquiry.

On 19th October 2016 a Delegated Powers Report (No. RS/450/16) was issued by Liverpool City Council, authorising the making of a Definitive Map Modification Order (DMMO) under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.

This was the planning permission (ref. 99P/1289) that authorised the building of what became Byron Court.
