During the winter of 2002/03 the new Beetham Tower apartment block and Radisson Hotel building began to rise above Old Hall Street.
Following their almost complete demolition (see earlier pictures), the former canal cottages were reassembled to form a 'feature' of the new development - a pub/restaurant operating as part of the hotel.
The pictures below were taken on 18 February 2003.
